He was a Top of The Pops and Eurovision award winning producer from Britain named John Matthews (nee Ricardo Autobahn). She was a vocalist who grew up in Africa (Zimbabwe), who moved to Minneapolis to cut records with the Prince camp under the moniker of Lolly Pop.
The two collided while combing the web for THE KLF. Supported by Monte Moir (The Time, Janet Jackson) and Dr. Fink (Prince & The Revolution, Insider), they went on to craft the Euro-Pop Cinderella fantasy Lolly Pop. When the album didn't chart, they decided to revolt, rounded up their favorite mates and made a Stadium House Electro Rock odyssey about bringing back KLF, who were best described by NME as "The Sex Pistols of dance."
The single-- which has been officially endorsed by KLF COMMUNICATIONS-- is due out in January 2009.
